Amanda is a Registered Nurse, mother of three, and community leader in Portland, Oregon. She was the first candidate ever to qualify for Portland's Public Campaign Financing in her run for Portland City Council in 2006. On November 4, 2008 she won 71% of the vote to become Commissioner-elect, again using Public Campaign Financing. Thank you, Portlanders!
